HELLO,

I'm available for expert advices on process design simulation and numerical modeling.

Marino Miccio is a chemical engineer working for Processi Innovativi srl in Rome.

He completed the bachelor and master degrees in Chemical Engineering at the University of Salerno.

During his working experience he had the opportunity of becoming familiar with various simulation environments, likeas PROII, Aspen Plus, Hysys and VMGSim,mastering many of theirdesign capabilities. He realized a series of video tutorials both in English and Italian that are among the first ones freely available to the public regarding Aspen Plus [Channel].

ASPEN PLUS

In industry complicated problems are often not solved by hand for two reasons: human error and time constraints. When used to its full capabilities, Aspen can be a very powerful tool for a Chemical Engineer in a variety of fields including oil and gas production, refining, chemical processing, environmental studies, and power generation to name a few. Over the course of these tutorials, you will be introduced to some of the basic features of Aspen as we build a simulation of an acetone/water extraction-distillation process.

COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS

COMSOL Multiphysics is a finite element analysis, solver and simulation software / FEA Software package for various physics and engineering applications, especially coupled phenomena, or multiphysics.

You can model and simulate any physics-based system using COMSOL®. COMSOL Multiphysics includes the graphical user interface (GUI) and a set of predefined user interfaces with associated modeling tools, referred to as physics interfaces, for modeling common applications.
